The Kingston Trio

Twice Upon A Time

Recorded live at The Sahara Tahoe in Stateline, NV, on July 31, 1966, "Twice Upon A Time" is a complete concert by the Bob Shane/ Nick Reynolds/ John Stewart lineup of The Kingston Trio. Unlike the "Once Upon A Time" album released by Tetragrammaton in 1969, "Twice Upon A Time" is free of studio overdubs and presents The Kingston Trio exactly as they were on stage. Alongside the usual crowd favorites and incisive spoken introductions, a selection of fine covers and two recent John Stewart originals ("Hit And Run" and "The Spinnin' Of The World") were performed. All tracks were originally produced by group manager Frank Werber and engineered by Hank McGill, and remixed by Ron Furmanek of RichKat Records in September 2007.
